Welcome to the Merrywood Baptist Church web page! We are glad that you stopped by. Spring has sprung, the chill has left the air and we welcome in summer! It may be hot outside but the air conditioner has things nice and comfortable inside! We ask that you would please pardon our mess in the back yard as we are building our new educational space. This will interupt parking and a few other things for a while and we ask for your patience and cooperation during this time of building. Speaking of building you can click on the Building Program link on the left hand side of this page and see pictures from ground breaking on Sunday January 9th. We will also post updated pictures as the building progresses. The building is almost complete. The painters in in, wires are run and lights are ready to be placed. It wont be long and we will be in our new facilities!

At Merrywood we strive to help families draw closer to Christ. We do this by offering ministries to all age ranges. We also try to bring all ages together for times of worship and fellowship. We often say that we are "The Church That Love Built". If you walk through our doors you will understand this. We believe that each person is unique and created by God. This makes each person special and we try to make everyone feel special and welcomed here at Merrywood. Our worship services include a blended style of music. You will hear new contemporary music as well as some of your favorite old hymns. Our Pastor brings God inspired messages each time he enters the pulpit. You will surely be blessed by the proclaiming of God's Word.  If you are looking for a church where your children will be taught the love of God,  where you can have help guiding your teenager through the difficult teen years, where you as adults can fellowship and worship with other believers and as grandparents have a place to continue to grow closer to the Father and serve Him then Merrywood is the place for you!
